WHATCHA DO

Looking through a glass at my life in reverse

Through the valley of the sun like a river I traverse

I’m winding and grinding and trying to stay alive

And been working for so long I just want to take five

I need a break I’m young, I just want to explore

Each discovery leaves me yearning for more

I want the car that I’m driving to be fueled with passion

Journey five thousand miles on a single tank of gas and

Perplexed and contemplative, I’ve drawn my conclusion

My advice will suffice, it’s no optical illusion

CHORUS

And I say love, love, love, Whatcha Do, Whatcha Do

You only got one go around to live life through

I took a giant leap of accomplishment

A tough race to the end, never stopped to sprint

Not ready for a desk and a job with no windows

The world is my playground, that much I can disclose

I want to go forward and manufacture meaning

Not just sustaining without intervening

Said I blaze my own path and I write my own novel

Moderate my own debate, like my name was James Carville

Hold that which is close with those lips that you’re kissing

I might be wrong but take my words of wisdom
